Week 4  Portfolio Assignment Information Literacy and Searching the Web
I’m using relevant article from University of Maryland University College website’s the information and library tutorial on evaluating Web sites audio lecture and transcribe note.
According to the audio lecture advice, there is many Web site contain of trustworthy information are use in college level research. But some Web sites  are not so trustworthy. For examples out of date information, not accurate and controversial information. Student should think about how to evaluate information on the Web is W-4. It means Who, Where, What, When and ask the right question and more detail for the Author, Bias, Accuracy and Timeline. No matter what kind of Web sources you are using  a student much critically evolution to Wed site  the information it contains. Also the Web content and compare with other sources on the topic. According to the Audio lecture  all type of  trustworthy information Web sites. There are five type of (1) .com( commercial, business) (2) .org( non-profit organization) (3) .edu (education institution) (4) .gov(government) (5) .mil(military).
As for my opinion, students to do an assignment or home works paper for searching the Wed on information is classroom  professor lecture, guideline note and it’s institution library are the best resource to get for accuracy information. And other option are all institution, university and college Web site .

                                                  Portfolio Assignment 2 (Digital Ethics)
Before I came to the United States of America, I never aware that the term used information technology, digital world, high speed internet and wifi etc…,they are nothing to me. Because, I came from the most under developing country. I’m very graceful to studied at the best education in here but, on the other side I’m consider about third world countries for digitalization is no necessary to them.
Nowadays, In this new digital age, morality and ethics is the most important for every human being for digital world. Some groups used internet is a good tools  for to gains theirs goals. But some people used their own profitable for negatively and that is the most dangerous for others. I’m thinking about three topics of (a) How can digital age changed social culture and people lifestyle? (b) What is the impact of digital piracy to the business sector and (c) How effected political movement on last years in middle Asia countries?
Nowadays, you can  chat or use face time to see each other to global south and north. Information technology changed  the world smaller and smellier and to combine the culture difference between young generations.
Digital piracy is the most controversial problem between Apple I-phone company and Samsung galaxy s4. Korean government banned Sum Sung galaxy and apple I-phone in Korea market. Because Korean law suit decided both company copy some device to each other.
On April 2012, Egypt pro democracy youth movement was instrumental used in face book and tweeter to against president Hosni Mubarak in Cairo’s  at Tahrir Square. Over five weeks later the country power return to people. Hosni government can controlled pro democracy activities on early weeks but they can’t stop digital and internet technology. That is the key point of digital can even changed the country’s power.

                                                  Portfolio Assignment 1
I’m searching the information about internet and web technologies for my week 2 portfolio assignment on Google. Some information are awesome but they can’t pursuit me all the time to reads them.  But, the ones website of internet society organization is very interesting to me, I can’t stop reading them.
Why download and read the report?  Well, have you ever wondered about the future of the Internet, based on the economic impacts of usage based pricing and data caps?  Questioned whether open Internet is applicable to the mobile application world?  Tried to puzzle through the implications of delivering local video services over the same IP infrastructure as over the top Internet video services?  Wanted to help a parent puzzle through the merits of different Internet access providers?  If you answered yes to any of these or similar questions, you will be interested to read the Committee's reflections, captured in this report.
The report is weighty -- 98pp if you kill trees to print it. The OIAC was established as part of the US FCC Open Internet activity and Open Internet Report and Order from 2010. The FCC appointed expert committee members from a broad range of commercial, academic, and not-for-profit organizations.  Four focus areas were identified early in the year and working groups were set up to tackle specific topics, each contributing to the annual report:
·       Economic Impacts of Open Internet Frameworks
·       Mobile Ecosystem
·       Specialized Services
·       Transparency
On the whole, having been part of the sausage-making, I do have to recommend it as a useful piece in articulating many aspects of the issues that are being discussed the world over in terms of how regulators might think about handling access networks in the light of keeping the Internet open. Clearly, there are aspects of this that are capitalist-oriented, if not strictly US-centric. Nevertheless, there are no magic answers! This is a report *to* the US government, to inform its thinking on future possibilities. Other parts of the world have a very different approach to building out and ensuring high quality Internet access networks.

Online Employment Support

Tial Ling Vs Eliz
In today’s world the internet is very useful in support of employment and employment opportunities. Through the use of the internet and web sites such as Monster.com there are applications to assist in writing an appropriate Resume for the type of job that you are pursuing, information on job opportunities, as well as career resources.
When creating a resume you want it to be relevant to the field that you are applying for. If applying for a Photography position you would want the resume to reflect highlights that you have accomplished in the Photographic field such as education in the study of photography and employment experience in the field of photography. You have the ability to post the resume online to positions that are found in the job search.
